I’m Shamis, a photographer obsessed with capturing not just what something looks like, but what it feels like.
For me, photography has never been just pressing a shutter. It’s a way of telling a story without ever saying a word…
Translating motion, emotion, energy, and atmosphere into images that last forever. I love the entire process, the planning, the chase, the stillness before the shot, and the moment when everything lines up and you just know you’ve frozen something real.
I shoot sports, portraits, and the outdoors, the places and people that define us, the quiet moments we overlook, the ones charged with adrenaline and life. My work leans into mood, movement, and clarity because I believe that a photograph should be more than something you view.
It should be something you feel.
I’m always down to collaborate. Whether we’re on a mountainside at sunrise, rink side in a moment of full-speed intensity, or capturing something as simple and human as a quiet expression, my goal is always the same:
To document places, people, and experiences so they last forever.
And as an officially accredited photographer for the ISU World Cup Calgary, I’ve had the chance to freeze history in real time, preserving stories told in motion.
